Who says large machinery manufacturing is dead in the UK? Not us!

Bucking the trend towards large-scale production in countries with access to cheaper labour and materials, here at JMC we continue to build our complete range of metal recycling equipment from our East Midlands based factory.

The start of 2010 has seen a rise in the global demand for our heavy-duty Ingot Casting Machines. These large pieces of equipment, up to 12.5 metres in length, are fabricated and built from scratch in our Nottingham plant. The first model built for 2010 is now completed and has started its journey to the Kingdom of Bahrain. This will make room for production to start on machines for Poland and Mexico.

And…as part of our efforts to stay at the cutting edge of technological advancements and market demand, JMC has now teamed up with a local automation specialist. This partnership will allow JMC to offer automated ingot stacking and conveying systems in 2010.
