The McIntyre Hippo Scrap Metal Baler is two powerful machines in one, giving you one robust unit available as either a semi-automatic or manual baler.

Huge cutting capacity

With a lid shear force of up to 160 Tonnes the McIntyre Hippo offers an exceptional cutting and baling capacity. Cutting edges on three sides of the loading box give the machine the ability to handle oversized materials with ease. The Hippo has been designed and built to last. Featuring long life hard wear plates which line the bale box, return-line filters to reduce wear and tear on hydraulic components and a lid fail-safe mechanism to prevent accidental damage to the main ram rod. Additionally, all ram rods on the Hippo baler are hard chrome plated to ensure maximum seal life. Additional features include optional bale track and sorting table.
