150 Years’ Experience

August 19, 2019 | Recycling

Recycling is in our blood. In fact, our family scrap business started beneath Nottingham Castle 150 years ago, and we’ve continuously operated a yard ever since.

Today we primarily purchase scrap metal for testing and demonstrating our recycling systems. Therefore, we’re less susceptible to the volatile market dynamics and we consistently pay top prices for  copper cable, copper pipes, household cable and wire, copper cylinders, aluminium and steel cans, aluminium wheels, stainless steel, electrical waste, lead and electric motors.

We welcome members of the public and any local businesses with scrap to sell – no load is too large or too small. Our facility is efficient and friendly and you will never have to queue for too long.

Payment is prompt by cheque or bank transfer. We are unable to pay cash. Please note that current law requires you to show us photo ID and proof of your address before we can serve you.

We are conveniently situated off the A52 Ring Road in Nottingham so next time you have scrap metal to sell why not give us a try? For further information or prices call 0115 9409630 or complete the contact form by clicking below.  We are open:

  • Monday-Friday: 8am-4.45pm
  • Saturday: 7.30am-12 noon.
